Hi everyone! Great things are happening at JFS!!

June 2010 Profiling for SUCCESS

The SUCCESS program serves highly professional individuals who have lost their job due to no fault of their own. Karen Hughes, Coordinator of the SUCCESS program has created this profile of some of the candidates in that program. If you see a candidate that fits your hiring needs please contact Karen Hughes at 559-0177 or email her at khughes@jfscolumbus.org.

Secondly, Jewish Family Services (JFS) has an event, June 27 called Puddle/Jump. This is a family event. We would like runners/walkers from your companies to participate. Challenge each other or another company and participate in the 2010 Puddle Jump. TJ Maxx is the major sponsor; and many of you have sent in ads or have secured sponsorships that support this event. It is not too late to get on board. Friday is deadline for ads and or sponsorships.

Lastly, COWIC has 3 hiring expos for 18-24 year olds. This is an opportunity to have summer help and give young adults a job. The Columbus State event can only have employers with current summer intern opportunities. The Groveport Town Hall event will include education vendors.

Thank you, Lynn Aspey

JFS: Puddle Jump

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

Hi everyone! Jewish Family Services is having a Run/Walk and we are asking for your support. Please promote your organization through our ad book. We too want to promote your company as you have been wonderful partners to our agency. Also, we welcome you and your staff to participate in this event.  If you have any questions please call me at 559-0117 or email me. Thank you, Lynn

Please join us by supporting our 2nd Annual Puddle Jump 5k Run/Walk, Sunday, June 27, 2010.  The Puddle Jump is a community event and an opportunity to celebrate healthy families.

Every day, JEWISH FAMILY SERVICES sees more and more people whose lives have been turned up-side down.  We see people in crisis who don’t know where to turn for help.  We see families trying to figure out how their parents can continue to live independently.  We see young parents who have questions about their child’s ability to walk, talk and learn.  We see people who need to regain employment along with their own self confidence.  We see people who have lost everything and must rebuild their lives.  Because we are JEWISH FAMILY SERVICES, we give them more than help; we provide them with more than a case worker, we treat them like FAMILY and we surround them with an entire community that cares.

By participating as a sponsor, your organization will benefit from recognition on promotional materials, JFS website and exposure through media support.

We have five sponsorship levels, as detailed on the enclosed materials.  You can select the level of participation that best meets your needs or work with us to customize your involvement.  If you have any additional questions or need additional information, please contact Cathy Sucan or Lynn Aspey at 614.231.1890.

Please know that your support makes it possible for JFS to provide services to more than 2,400 children, families and individuals from across the entire Central Ohio community.

Thank you in advance for your support…Together we will CHANGE LIVES!

Sincerely,

Cathy Sucan                                                                       Lynn Aspey
