Hello,

Please see the attached flier regarding the American Cancer Society’s Freshstart Program’s upcoming facilitator workshop on June 16th at Columbus Public Health.   Freshstart Program is a free tobacco cessation support program.  This training is intended for the faith community and their health ministries.  There will be a future training for worksites, community centers, etc.

To implement the support program, a representative from the church (former tobacco user or non tobacco user) must first complete the online component of the Freshstart facilitator training.  This will take approximately 1 hour.  After completing the online training and attending this workshop, parishes can offer the program at their convenience to help parishioners discover why they use tobacco and what motivates them to quit. See the attached flier to register!

Thanks!

Hi Ellen, I thought you might like to pass along this info if you don’t already have it.

Hi Jenny

I wanted to pass the attached flyer along to you about a series of webinars being offered by the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatricians, in cooperation with PBO, on the importance of preschool vision screening in a primary care setting.  If any of your clients would be interested in this free educational opportunity, they can mail/email/fax their information to the Ohio AAP contact on the flyer.

Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,
