Subject: Ohio Benefit Bank Third Quarter Schedule

Hi Ellen,

The Benefit Bank has recently completed the third quarter training schedule for the months of July, August and September. I was wondering if you could please send out a copy to your contact list? I’ve attached a copy of the schedule to this email.

The Ohio Benefit Bank is program that helps the low- and moderate-income families of Ohio sign up for benefits using our online software. It is a free program that allows our clients to electronically sign up for benefits like food stamps and heating assistance without any paperwork. The trainings teach volunteer counselors about the software and certify them to help our clients apply online.

Thanks!

Subject: FW: Parsons & Livingston Improvement

Livingston Avenue will be improved from Ninth Street east to Ohio Avenue as well as Parsons Avenue from Jackson Street to Kennedy Drive. The improvements will include:
ò   full-depth pavement replacement and widening
ò   construction of left-turn lanes
ò   installation of traffic medians and updated signals
ò   improved street lighting and utility relocation
ò   sidewalk widening (from 4Æ to 8Æ) and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps

On Tuesday (7/6) they will start closing the north half of Livingston Avenue. Traffic on the remaining half of Livingston Avenue will be restricted to one lane in each direction from 9th Street to South Ohio Avenue. Parsons Avenue will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Mooberry Street and Jackson Street. There will also be various closures of side streets and turning restrictions. Access to businesses and homes will be maintained. Pedestrian traffic will also be maintained but with some restrictions. COTA bus stops in the project area will change as the project progresses. Bus riders should check with COTA for bus stop information. These restrictions will last until December of 2010, weather permitting.
In 2011 the South half of Livingston Avenue will be closed with one lane of traffic in each direction maintained on the north half.
